House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is furious that President Donald Trump called out Rep. Ilhan Omar for her disturbing and controversial comments about the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Pelosi took to Twitter on Sunday and released a statement saying she notified Capitol Police and the Sergeant at Arms to provide more security for Omar and demanded that Trump take down the video he shared of Omar.
Pelosi claimed that Trump “must take down” his video of Omar — which used her exact words on 9/11 — because it’s endangering her life and family.
“[email protected]’s dangerous video must be taken down. I have spoken with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Rep. @Ilhan Omar, her family & her staff. They will continue to monitor & address the threats she faces,” Pelosi wrote in the caption of the tweet.

In her statement, Pelosi said: “Following the President’s tweet, I spoke with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff. They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces.”
“The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video,” it added.
Pelosi claiming that Omar’s life is in danger came after Trump, Republicans, and many others slammed the Muslim lawmaker last week for her egregious comments about the deadly terror attacks on American soil almost two decades ago.
Omar came under fire for disgustingly referencing the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks — where almost 3,000 innocent Americans were killed, by saying, “some people did something.”
In response, Trump shared a video to his Twitter account that showed Omar making her comments at an event last month for the Council on American–Islamic Relations.
Omar described 9/11 as “some people did something” rather than saying a group of al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four airplanes, ran two of them into the Twin Towers, and killed just shy of 3,000 innocent Americans.
Trump captioned his tweet, “WE WILL NEVER FORGET!”

Crenshaw, who served as a U.S. Navy SEAL after 9/11 and lost his eye after an IED blew up on his face while he fought in the Middle East, was one of many to call out Omar via Twitter.

The New York Post responded to Omar’s abhorrent comments by putting a photo of the burning Twin Towers on the cover of Thursday’s edition with the headline, “Here’s Your Something.’”
The cover went viral on social media and got a lot of attention.

It’s important to note that Trump didn’t wish any harm on Omar at all. He literally uploaded a clip of her comments and said “we will never forget.”
Maybe Pelosi and Democrats should spent more time actually attacking the person (Omar) who trivialized the 9/11 terror attacks.
