Will This 3rd Party Candidate Help Trump Easily Get Re-Elected? ‘The Atlantic’ Thinks So…

The 2020 Democratic primaries will feature a duel old and new when they take a shot at retaking the White House and putting Barack Obama’s radical agenda back on track.

It will truly be the greatest show on earth and a spectacle of greater proportions than the epic 2015 Republican race when outsider Donald Trump mowed down 16 challengers like Clint Eastwood working his way through the bad guys at the end of “Pale Rider”. (It could even top that in terms of pure entertainment value.)

But one of the potential candidates is eliciting jitters from the Democrats for strongly suggesting that he will be running as an independent, the one thing that the party fears most of all because it would give those moderates who will be turned off by the extremism another place to go.

VOTE NOW: Should President Trump pardon Roger Stone?

Like voting for former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz who appears to be ready to get into the ring with a third party bid that could shake up the race and crush the dreams of Dems by siphoning off enough votes to allow President Trump to cruise to reelection.

Schultz will be appearing on CBS’s flagship “60 Minutes” on Sunday evening and in a clip posted by the network on Twitter, he will put a pox on the houses of both parties.

That Schultz has his own money to self-finance a campaign and not have to rely on dirty money from the likes of George Soros and Tom Steyer has some on the political left already panicking and according to the snooty liberal rag The Atlantic, a Schultz candidacy plays right into Trump’s hands.

Via The Atlantic, “Ex–Starbucks CEO Could Get Trump Re-elected”:

Before there was Jill Stein, there was Ralph Nader. Before there was Nader, there was Ross Perot.

None won. All argued that the Republican Party and the Democratic Party were basically the same, and the only way to make real change was to ditch them both. Each was blamed for siphoning off enough votes to throw the presidential elections.

These days, the difference between the parties is starker than it’s ever been in modern times. Yet here comes Howard Schultz, a billionaire who feels that he might be the answer to American politics, and that he’d run for president as an independent.

Schultz, the former Starbucks CEO, says in a 60 Minutes interview already recorded but airing on Sunday that he is thinking very seriously about a presidential run—but he stops short of a full announcement.

He makes clear, however, that if he moves forward, he will do so as an independent.

Already top Democratic operatives working for presidential candidates and beyond say they’re worried that the only thing he’ll accomplish is making sure Donald Trump gets re-elected. It’s more than just sniping at a prospective opponent; word that he might invest in an independent run has many of them clearly worried about how he’d split votes in a general election.

At this rate, how much longer until the stories start popping up that Schultz is also a pawn of Putin?

Other than upping the anxiety of Democrats, it’s unknown of what the political neophyte would bring to the table after the disastrous year that Starbucks just went through.

There was the racial firestorm when a manager at a Philadelphia store called police on two black loiterers, then more accusations of racism after Black Lives Matter provocateur Shaun King promoted a video of a black man being refused access to a Starbucks restroom which went viral and triggered the Twitter mob.

The two incidents led to the decision to close all stores nationwide for an afternoon in order to conduct an Orwellian brainwashing training session on “unconscious bias” which means that you may be a racist without even knowing it and more famously the decision to allow non-paying customers to use restrooms and hang out in locations for as long as they desired.

Not only did many mock Starbucks as the largest public restroom in America but in hindsight, allowing prostitutes, the homeless and junkies use of the facilities may not have been such a great idea after all as some locations have now found it necessary to install needle disposal boxes in the restrooms.

It was mostly under Schultz’s tenure as the company’s executive chairman that these decisions were made so who knows what he will base his appeal to moderates on.

If Schultz does get into the race, it may very well be that his legacy will be that he was able to interject actual issues into the process instead of the radical socialism, conspiracy theories and racial demagoguery that Soros, Steyer and other liberal high-rollers are paying for.

This could truly be epic and would expose the Democrats as the extremists that they have become since the Obama horror.
