MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace went absolutely berserk on Thursday after Attorney General William Barr held a press conference and detailed the top-lines of Robert Mueller’s final Russia report.
During a segment on MSNBC, Wallace kicked things off by raging against Barr, calling him a “shill” and a “human shield” for President Donald Trump.
She became so enraged that Trump has been vindicated and cleared that she literally shouted, “Why? Why?”
“As the country’s chief executive, he sat in his pajamas watching Fox & Friends maligning the FBI, maligning Robert Mueller, maligning Rod Rosenstein,” Wallace began.
“And what the country’s Attorney General did was walk in there and back up the guy doing the kicking,” she added.
“Why?” She shouted. “Why?”
MSNBC’s Brian Williams jumped in, asking Wallace “Do you have an answer for that?”
“I don’t” she replied, visibly frustrated and in disbelief before launching into another long-winded diatribe.
There will be a strong wave of trying to bully the press, saying, “It’s over! It’s over! No collusion, no obstruction.” Really? Then why did that all happen today? Why have we heard from Barr five times if the Mueller report is so awesome for Donald Trump? We have now heard from someone who is a human shield of Mueller’s findings five times. If Mueller exonerated Trump on collusion, if there’s nothing ugly in there, why have we heard from Barr five times?

Just minutes before Wallace’s epic melt down, Barr put the final nail in the collusion coffin and made it clear that Mueller found no evidence of collusion or obstruction of justice.
During his press conference from the Department of Justice, Barr reiterated countless times that Mueller found no evidence that Trump, his campaign, or any American colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.
So that is the bottom line. After nearly two years of investigation, thousands of subpoenas, and hundreds of warrants and witness interviews, the Special Counsel confirmed that the Russian government sponsored efforts to illegally interfere with the 2016 presidential election but did not find that the Trump campaign or other Americans colluded in those schemes.
Barr also stated that Mueller left it up to the Department of Justice to determine if the president obstructed justice.
The attorney general said he consulted with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and they both determined there was no evidence to charge Trump with obstructing justice in the Russia probe.

The attorney general also made it clear that the White House offered “unfettered access,” “no redactions,” and “didn’t exert any executive privilege, which would be within their rights.”
This means that Trump and the White House provided Mueller’s team with essentially all of the records and documents they requested.
Barr also said that Trump had the legal authority to assert executive privilege to block portions of Mueller’s report from being made public.
Barr said the president declined and informed the DOJ that he wanted as much of the report made available to the public as possible.
The White House fully cooperated with the Special Counsel’s investigation, providing unfettered access to campaign and White House documents, directing senior aides to testify freely, and asserting no privilege claims.
The president has been completely vindicated after the two-year Russia witch hunt.
As Barr made clear: No collusion, no obstruction.
