President Donald Trump held a rally on Monday night, and he brought down the packed house with several notable comments.
During the event in El Paso, Texas, the president also torched Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s socialist Green New Deal and brutally mocked some of the things it calls for, such as eliminating airplanes as well as rebuilding or replacing all buildings in the country to be more eco-friendly.
“Last week, the massive government takeover, it would destroy our incredible economic gains. They introduced the so-called Green New Deal,” Trump said, with the massive crowd booing loudly.
“It sounds like he high school term paper that got back a low mark. It was shut down American energy, I think the people of Texas would be happy with that,” he added.
Trump continued: “It would shutdown a little thing called air travel. How you take a train to Europe?”
The president went on to explain how the Green New Deal also wants to upgrade and replace all vehicles in the United States to make them more environmentally friendly.
Trump had a field day with this one, and the crowd loved it.
“They want to take away your car, reduce the value of your home and put millions of American out at work. Spent $100 trillion, which by the way, there’s no such thing as 100 trillion. You have to spend $100 trillion,” Trump said.
“Remember this, no other country is going to do it. That’s a little problem. While the world real leaders like China would get many of our companies and factories. They would just move to China or other parts of the world. That’s the way the system works. It’s not going to happen. Don’t worry, it’s not going to happen,” he added.
He continued, “100 trillion. Let’s spend 100 trillion. Let’s rip down every building in New York City and rebuild it environmentally slightly better.”

The president rounded out his comments by further mocking the socialist deal and vowing that so long as he is in office, he will never let such policies take hold.
“Unfortunately, many of the Democrats in Congress responded to my call for bipartisan cooperation by choosing — look, did you ever see anything radical? Existence. The radical left. Maybe it will change. It all has to do with 2020 and the election,” Trump said.
He added: “I really don’t like their policy of taking away your car, of taking away your airplanes license. Let’s have a train to California. You’re not allowed to own that anymore. A lot of problems. Nobody has ever — by the way, with us, we handle it.”
“No president should ever have to go through what we’ve gone through in the first two years. It’s our hopes, it’s a disgrace and it should never be allowed to happen again,” he concluded.
Trump’s rally was so large that a reported 10,000 people were inside and over 30,000 were watching outside on the big screens.
