Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren went nuclear on the anti-gun protesters for only caring about parts of the U.S. Constitution that benefit their agenda.
During her Final Thoughts segment on Monday, Lahren went on an epic rant against the March For Our Lives rally that took place on Saturday in Washington, D.C.
“Let me start by saying I am glad the young people in this country are exercising their First Amendment rights – the rights generations of Americans have fought and died to protect. You have a voice, and you deserve to be heard,” Lahren said.
She added: “You claim you, “marched for our lives.” Understood. But lives are also protected, defended, and saved by good, law-abiding Americans – with guns!”
Lahren reminded viewers that good guys with a gun save lives all the time, noting that Stephen Willeford used his AR-15 to thwart a shooter at a Texas church after a man opened fire and killed 26 people last November.
She also said police officers and security guards across the nation use guns every single day to protect citizens, including the students at the rally on Saturday who were railing against the Second Amendment.
As reported by Fox News Insider, Lahren made her message very clear:
“Did you mention either of them on the signs at your march? No, I didn’t think so.”
“You say this was a march for our lives. But the message was more anti-gun and anti-NRA than anything else. This demonization of the NRA does nothing to solve the problem. Do you realize the NRA is made up of nearly five million of your fellow Americans? These are people who want what’s best for this country – just like you.”
“Don’t blame law-abiding gun owners and NRA members for crimes they didn’t commit. You don’t get to self-righteously demonize those who disagree with your gun control agenda.”
Lahren said all Americans want to reduce gun violence and the likelihood of a school shooter, but said disarming people makes everyone less safe.
She dropped the hammer for her final line.
“So yes – march, chant and protest. But remember, MY First AND Second Amendment rights do not end where your feelings begin,” she said.
