House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff had a desperate temper tantrum over the weekend and claimed that the United States “can’t survive another four years” of President Donald Trump in office.
During an interview on Sunday’s edition of ABC’s “This Week,” host George Stephanopoulos began by playing a clip of Trump telling a crowd in Florida last week that Democrats are helping his chances of winning re-election in 2020.
“You heard the president right there, he says you all are going to elect him in 2020,” said Stephanopoulos.
This sent Schiff over the edge.
“That’s not going to happen and I don’t think this country could survive another four years of a president like this who gets up every day trying to find new and inventive ways to divide us,” Schiff began.
“He doesn’t seem to understand that a fundamental aspect of his job is to try to make us a more perfect union. But that’s not at all where he’s coming from,” he added.
Schiff continued, “And he’s going to be defeated. He has to be defeated because I don’t know how much more our democratic institutions can take of this kind of attack on the rule of law.”
If anything, Americans can’t take another four years of Schiff’s baseless conspiracy theories.
Last week, Schiff went nuts and claimed that those who support Trump are not patriotic.
Schiff took to Twitter to respond to comments made by White House adviser Jared Kushner, where he summarized Russia’s attempts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election as just “a few Facebook ads.”
“On Sunday, Kellyanne Conway wouldn’t even acknowledge Russia helped Trump. And Rudy Giuliani effectively said it was fine if they did. Today, Jared Kushner said the attack was no more than a few Facebook ads. There is no patriotism in Trump’s GOP. Only cowardly opportunism,” Schiff wrote.

Schiff was also referring to recent remarks made by White House adviser Kellyanne Conway and Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney who played a big role in dealing with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Schiff is upset because after screaming about alleged Trump-Russia collusion for two years, Mueller’s final report made it clear that there was no collusion or charges being brought against Trump for obstruction of justice.
During his press conference from the Department of Justice, Barr reiterated countless times that Mueller found no evidence that Trump, his campaign, or any American colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.
The attorney general also made it clear that the White House offered “unfettered access,” “no redactions,” and “didn’t exert any executive privilege, which would be within their rights.”
This means that Trump and the White House provided Mueller’s team with essentially all of the records and documents they requested.
The president has been completely vindicated after the two-year Russia witch hunt.
As Barr made clear: No collusion, no obstruction.
