On Monday at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Vice President Mike Pence took the opportunity during his speech to slam the far Left Democrats and Ilhan Omar about their recent anti-Semitism and for turning their back on the Jewish state.
Without mentioning her name, Vice President Pence slammed the congresswoman from Minnesota for her blatant anti-Semitism. He rightfully claimed that Omar “trafficked in repeated anti-Semitic tropes,” and listed many of Omar’s anti-Semitic statements. “Anti-Semitism has no place in the Congress of the United States of America,” the Vice President added.
Vice President Pence wasn’t done there. He went on to say that Omar should be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee which has been a common position held by Republican Party members.
“At a minimum, anyone who slanders those who support this historic alliance between the United States and Israel should never have a seat on the Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States’ House of Representatives,” Vice President Pence said.
Many Democrats who had attended AIPAC in the past decided that they would not attned this year for political purposes that are being pushed by the Far Left.

The entire Democratic — or “Democrat,” as Pence put it, using the ungrammatical truncation that has become popular on the right — Party also came under assault from Pence, who has proved himself to be a reliable messenger for President Trump. He decried the fact that the party of President Harry Truman, who was instrumental in the creation of Israel, and “the home of so many American Jews for so long,” had “struggled” to condemn what he called Omar’s anti-Semitism. While some in the House sought a resolution targeted specifically at anti-Semitism, the chamber passed a broader anti-hate measure.
Nor did the 2020 presidential candidates escape Pence’s contempt. Urged by progressives groups to stay away from the pro-Israel conference, virtually all major candidates said they would not attend AIPAC. “It is wrong to boycott Israel and it is wrong to boycott AIPAC,” Pence said, referencing not only the candidates’ absence but the “boycott, divestment and sanctions” movement that seeks to cripple Israel’s economy.
“Anyone who aspires to the highest office in the land should not be afraid to stand with the strongest supporters of Israel in America,” the vice president said directed towards the Democrats who decided to boycott the Pro-Jewish event. “It is wrong to boycott Israel and it is wrong to boycott AIPAC.”
The Democrats have recently been under fire for their failure to condemn anti-Semitism, specifically coming from congresswoman Omar. Their failure to do this has sent a clear message to Israel and the Jewish community that they care more about “keeping their party together” even if that means supporting anti-Semitism than they care about supporting our Jewish allies.
It’s sad and disgusting that the Left is literally boycotting a pro-Israel and pro-Jewish event just because they care more about pleasing the far Left agenda than supporting our Jewish allies.
