First Lady Melania Trump continues to carry herself with grace and class despite the unprecedented attacks on her by cyberbullies, late-night television hosts and the media which has smeared her for years in a disgraceful manner.
Like other First Ladies, Mrs. Trump has chosen to champion issues that would make society a better place and Melania has spent much time and effort promoting awareness about the menace of those who use their social media anonymity as a cloak from behind which they are able to spew hate, target the vulnerable and reach out to others who are similarly inclined to form vicious online mobs.
The First Lady’s “Be Best” initiative may embody the finest of American ideals but that hasn’t spared her from the jeers and derision from the anti-Trump activist media including from CNN’s resident race-baiting hatemonger Don Lemon who convened a panel of talking heads and slammed her appearance at the Family Online Safety Institute conference in Washington, D.C. as “irrelevant.”
But like the president himself, Mrs. Trump has character, class, and dignity – all of which her detractors have none and she delivered.

Via The Daily Wire, “Melania Trump Delivers Message To Media ‘Ridiculing’ Her”:
Speaking at the Family Online Safety Institute conference in Washington, D.C.on Thursday, First Lady Melania Trump addressed those who have criticized her for choosing to tackle cyberbullying via the “Be Best” initiative.
“As I have said before, it is not news or surprising to me that critics and the media have chosen to ridicule me for speaking out on this issue, and that’s okay,” Mrs. Trump said.
“I remain committed to tackling this topic because it will provide a better world for our children,” she told critics. “And I hope, that like I do, you will consider using their negative words as motivation to do all you can to bring awareness and understanding about responsible online behavior.”
Critics have highlighted past comments from President Donald Trump to poke at Melania’s choice initiative. In a video from The Washington Post, for example, clips of Trump hurling insults at political opponents and reporters alternate with clips of the First Lady calling for respect and the end to cyberbullying.
Following Melania’s remarks on Thursday, CNN’s Don Lemon, right on cue, went after Mrs. Trump, calling her initiative irrelevant.
Kudos to our classy First Lady who rose above her enemies and delivered a nice helping of mud in their eyes.
