The Blaze’s Glenn Beck delivered an emotional message on Thursday night when he revealed how President Donald Trump proved him wrong with bold actions.
While appearing on Fox News to speak with host Sean Hannity, Beck said Trump’s strong pro-life position, support for Israel, opposition to socialism, and pursuit of getting conservative judges appointed to the courts had made him a big supporter.
“Look, I think I’ve been very consistent. I was judging Donald Trump on his record prior to being president of the United States. That’s all you had to judge him on,” Beck began.
“I said after the election that he is my president,” he continued, “and it is in our best interest that our president succeeds, and I want him to succeed and I said over and over again, I hope that I’m wrong, and if I am, I’ll be the first to admit it.
“Once he got into office, now he’s the president,” he added, “so now I’m not judging him on the past, I’m judging him on what he’s doing, and I call balls and strikes. And quite honestly, Sean, early on, I said, I never thought he would do that, I never thought he would do that, I never thought he would do that. By the time he got to Israel, he was proving me wrong every step of the way on his policies.”
“I was happy, happy, thrilled to say he’s doing the things he said he would do,” Beck concluded.
The segment concluded with Beck saying he wasn’t going to endorse Trump’s 2020 re-election just yet because he worried that it would be a “kiss of death” and jinx him.
Last June, Beck went viral after he put on the red “Make America Great Again” hat and announced his full support for Trump.
Beck was responding to the media claiming that Trump was caging children and mistreating them at the U.S.-Mexico border.
“Here’s why I’m predicting a 2020 win. When I saw yesterday how the press was all reporting the same damn story — that Donald Trump was calling MS-13 gang members (they left that out of the story) ‘animals’ — they were spinning it as if he was saying that about all immigrants. I had enough. I’ve had enough,” Beck began.
Beck then took out a red MAGA hat and said, “Media, if you can get me, Glenn Beck, to do this … If you can drive me to the point where I say, ‘you know, I’ve had enough,’ I’ll vote for him in 2020. Gladly, I’ll vote for him in 2020. And not really even on his record, which we’ll talk about here in a second, is pretty damn amazing.”
Quite remarkable to see that the media and Democrats have gone so far off the deep end that once Never-Trumpers like Beck are now pledging their full support for the president.
