“Allow good, honest people the ability to defend themselves,”
Since the terrible shooting in Las Vegas, the Left has been frantically pushing for gun control. Not only are they using this tragedy as a platform for their legislation, they are also using it to attack the NRA.
Tucker Carlson recently sat down with a NRA Director. He asked him what it was like to be personally blamed for the horrific event despite the NRA being involved at all. His answer said it all.
Tucker Carlson discussed gun control policy with NRA executive director Chris Cox on Fox News Thursday.
Carlson played a clip of Democrats Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer using the recent mass shooting in Las Vegas to call for gun control, then asking Cox, “How do you feel when you see that Chris? You watch 50 people murdered in public and then you see yourself personally blamed for those murders.”
Cox responded, “Tucker, the American people are struggling. They’re grieving. And so are the 5 million men and women of the National Rifle Association.”
“There were NRA members shot at that concert. There were NRA members shot at that concert, and NRA members murdered at that concert,” Cox added.
The Daily Caller co-founder also asked Cox if the shooter, Stephen Paddock, was part of the NRA, to which Cox answered with a definite no.
“Allow good, honest people the ability to defend themselves,” Cox said.
