VIDEO: SNL Mocks Ocasio-Cortez In Hilarious Skit; ‘Changing America’s Healthcare Will Be Nada!’

Saturday Night Live finally went after New York Democratic Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and it was actually hilarious.

The SNL skit began by mocking MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for their recent secret wedding.

VOTER POLL: Does Trump have your vote in 2020?

Actor Kenan Thompson played Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings and made an appearance to discuss presiding over their wedding last week.

Cummings did officiate their secret wedding last week, so the SNL skit mirrored their real-life wedding.

Then, actress Melissa Villaseñor appeared as Ocasio-Cortez.

“The freshman class of 2018 just descended on Congress. And no one is making a bigger splash than Democrat from New York Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,” SNL’s Scarborough said.

“Look at me, I’m different,” Villaseñor said, portraying Ocasio-Cortez.

VOTE NOW: Should Jim Acosta be PERMANENTLY banned from the White House?

After SNL’s Brezinski said she had already overcome great odds to win her election, Ocasio-Cortez said: “I’m a millennial. Getting any full-time job is overcoming incredible odds. I’m actually still working for Task Rabbit.”

SNL’s Scarborough then reminded everyone that he was in Congress, but only for one term. The joke was that he was trying to one-up Ocasio-Cortez, which the real-life Scarborough often does with his guests.

“Joe, I worked as a bartender in a Mexican restaurant like 11 minutes ago,” SNL’s Ocasio-Cortez replied. “This job is a freaking breeze. We get Saturday and Sunday off. I can sit down whenever I want. Changing America’s health care system will be nada.”

SNL’s Ocasio-Cortez then said death threats don’t phase her.

POLL: Would you choose ALEX JONES or JIM ACOSTA to get press credentials?

“I was born for this,” she said, telling the mock panel that she is from the Bronx and can survive anything.

Many on social media noted that the segment was hilarious because SNL finally took a slight break from endlessly trashing President Trump and conservatives.

It also poked fun at Ocasio-Cortez for continuously making embarrassing comments.

VOTE NOW: On a scale of 1-10, how is Trump doing?

On Thursday, the young Democrat said she feels like an “American revolutionary.”

Last week, she said “people are going to die” if her “Green New Deal” is not passed in Congress, which many have argued is nothing more than a Trojan Horse for the implementation of full-blown socialism in America.

“People are going to die if we don’t start addressing climate change ASAP”

“It’s not enough to think it’s ‘important.’ We must make it urgent. That’s why we need a Select Committee on a Green New Deal, & why fossil fuel-funded officials shouldn’t be writing climate change policy.”

Ocasio-Cortez also recently found herself in hot water after she compared the migrant caravan swarming the U.S. border to Jews fleeing Nazi Germany during the Holocaust.

She had also struggled mightily to explain how to pay for the $218 trillion “Medicare for all” plan she supports, said it was a “no brainer” that President Trump should be impeached, and is in favor of eliminating the Electoral College.
