In a speech that will stoke tons of speculation about a Presidential run, Oprah Winfrey called for “the end of powerful men” in her Golden Globes speech.
She was given some award on Sunday night when she immediately turned her attention to supporting the press and trashing “powerful men”. She started a slogan – “Their time is up”.
Because nothing says unity like trashing men, right?

Here are the quotes from VOX in which she trashes men and says that “their time is up”:
“But justice wasn’t an option in the era of Jim Crow. The men who tried to destroy her were never persecuted. Recy Taylor died 10 days ago. Just shy of her 98th birthday. She lived as we all have lived too many years in a culture broken by brutally powerful men. For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men. But their time is up. Their time is up. Their time is up.
“For too long women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men, but their time is up,” she said to loud cheers. Eleven years after investigating Taylor’s case, Rose Parks refused to obey a bus driver and that choice “is now in every woman saying ‘Me Too,’ and every man who chooses to listen.”
Sadly, many people are already calling on her to run for President, namely NBC:

Yes, NBC tweeted this out from their official account.
Don’t be surprised if you see CNN and the NY Times calling for her to run for President.
