With the 2020 Democrats no longer bothering to pretend that they are not authoritarian socialists, they have now gone to the extreme length of dictating to Americans what they can and cannot eat.
Now that climate change has become the central organizing principle for the imposition of an era of socialist darkness, the vicious scolds who are running for president have fired the opening shots in the war on meat.
Not content with taking away guns from law-abiding Americans and stifling their free speech, Democrats are now coming for their hamburgers as well.
The marathon CNN
clown town hall last week gave contenders for the nomination to outdo one another in terms of radicalism under the pretense of reconfiguring society to prevent climate change and it was a doozy.

With the same array of hypocrites who only weeks ago reveled in quaffing down corn dogs aplenty and pork chops on a stick at the Iowa State Fair now promising how if elected, that they would mandate how much meat that Americans can consume when queried by CNN moderators, someone had to call B.S. on this carnival of perversion.
And who better to flame broil the meat police than Fox’s inimitable Tucker Carlson who during his Friday night monologue, took down the “neurotic” socialist Dems.
CHECK IT OUT:
According to Tucker via Real Clear Politics:
As George Orwell once noted, “the worst advertisement for Socialism is its adherents.” According to Orwell, the typical socialist is, quote, “either a youthful snob-Bolshevik or, more typically, a prim little man with a white-collar job, usually a secret teetotaler, and often with vegetarian leanings.”
Orwell wrote those words in 1937, but they’re entirely recognizable today. Especially the line about vegetarianism. There’s something about the left that makes them highly neurotic about food. That’s been true for generations.
There’s evidence the impulse is getting worse. Here’s a clip from the other night on CNN. Democratic candidates lining up to denounce meat as immoral:
ERIN BURNETT: But would you support changing the dietary guidelines? You know, the food pyramid.
BURNETT: To reduce red meat specifically?
HARRIS: Yes, I would.
YANG: It’s good for the environment, it’s good for your health if you eat less meat. Certainly meat is an expensive thing to produce
WARREN: Look, there are a lot of ways that we try to change our energy consumption … Some of it is with lightbulbs, some of it is on straws, some of it, dang, is on cheeseburgers, right?
Catch that? Elizabeth Warren says you eat too many cheeseburgers. As if it’s any of her business. But that’s the thing: she actually thinks it is her business.
They all think that. The activist left seeks to control everything you do, including what you put in your mouth.
Carlson then referenced the macabre call from a leftist Swedish researcher who – get this- is advocating cannibalism as a solution to eating beef.
cannibalism suggested as means to fight climate change by SWEDISH SOCIAL 'SCIENTIST'-only conservative Christian values stand in the way https://t.co/UJLvLzZ6eH

Professor Soderlund went on to say that, unfortunately, many people might balk at cannibalism. They’re just too uptight and middle class. He suggested baby steps to open their minds. Start by eating their own pets. Have a cocker spaniel burger. It’s for the planet. The Swedes, we should note, are several years ahead of us in their climate-consciousness.
We’ll get there soon. And when we do, it’ll be due to the tireless evangelizing of eco-prophets like Father Pete Buddha Judge of South Bend. As he noted the other night, God himself strongly agrees with every word that Father Pete utters:
BUTTIGIEG: You know, if you believe that God is watching as poison is being belched into the air of creation, and people are being harmed by it, countries are at risk of vanishing in low-lying areas, what do you suppose God think of that? I bet he thinks it’s messed up. (edit) At least one way of talking about this is that it’s a kind of sin.
Hear that? Disagreeing with Father Pete is a sin — or as Episcopalians like Father Pete put it, “a kind of sin.”
BUTTIGIEG: I think we’re thinking about it mostly through the perspective of guilt. From using a straw to eating a burger you think “Am I part of the problem?”. In a certain way yes but we can also be part of the solution.
When you use a drinking straw, says Father Pete, you’re part of the problem. Unless you happen to be Pete Buddha Judge himself, and you find yourself at the Iowa state fair. In which case you can eat all the meat you want and, yes, drink from a plastic straw:

Straws for me, but not for thee. Don’t like it? Tough. Stop whining and eat your insects. Or your pets. Or your neighbors. I’m heading out to get a cheeseburger.
None of what Tucker says is disputable, the America-hating left wants to steal away every freedom that we have taken for granted including even the right to decide what to eat.
They must be stopped.
The good thing is that at the rate that they’re going, Democrats are eventually going to stop themselves when the silent majority rises up at the ballot box and banishes their thinly-veiled communism to the ash heap of history.
