The Democrat field of aspiring Trump slayers who will be dueling it out next year for the party’s nomination continues to expand on its way to an estimated two dozen candidates.
Over the weekend, the anticipated entry of Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren into the race grabbed the most media attention despite her dwindling credibility thanks to decades of falsely promoting herself as a Native American to advance her career but another female Democrat also jumped in.
Welcome to the party, Amy Klobuchar!
Minnesota’s senior senator made her big announcement on Sunday in Minneapolis with a stump speech that was heavy on fearmongering about global warming which will provide justification for the New Green Deal, a Trojan horse for the socialism that has now been openly embraced by the far-left elements who have taken over the party.
Klobuchar’s dire predictions were, however, a stark contrast to the weather at the outdoor event which could be best described as a winter wonderland with the latest entrant to the circus delivering her address in a blizzard.
Sen. @amyklobuchar: "I stand before you, as the granddaughter of an iron-ore miner, as the daughter of a teacher and a newspaper man, as the first woman elected to the United States Senate from the state of Minnesota, to announce my candidacy for president of the United States." pic.twitter.com/lH2jVjX6Lt

Thanks to the optics and the odd contradiction of preaching about global warming in a snowstorm, Klobuchar earned the honor of being the first of the new 2020 Democrats to be given a nickname from President Trump:
Well, it happened again. Amy Klobuchar announced that she is running for President, talking proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures. Bad timing. By the end of her speech she looked like a Snowman(woman)!

President Trump on Sunday mocked Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) for launching her presidential campaign in wintry conditions in Minnesota, tweeting that she “looked like a Snowman.”
“Amy Klobuchar announced that she is running for President, talking proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures,” Trump tweeted. “Bad timing. By the end of her speech she looked like a Snowman(woman)!”
Klobuchar announced her candidacy on Sunday in Minneapolis, where scores of supporters stood out in steady snowfall and frigid temperatures.
The three-term senator laid out her vision for the country, which included tackling environmental issues. She vowed to “put forth sweeping legislation to invest in green jobs and infrastructure” if elected president. She also declared that she would direct the U.S. to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord “on day one” of her administration.
Trump’s array of nicknames for his opponents during the Republican primaries was a first for a presidential candidate and in addition to being funny, it worked like a charm.
The insurgent outsider’s names like “low energy” Jeb, “‘lil Marco” and “lying Ted” served to bedevil and define his competitors all the way up to when all sixteen of them surrendered to the eventual winner of the presidency.
Klobuchar was quick to clap back though:
Science is on my side, @realDonaldTrump. Looking forward to debating you about climate change (and many other issues). And I wonder how your hair would fare in a blizzard? ☃️

But talk is cheap and Klobuchar enters the race already badly handicapped thanks to having zero national name recognition.
It will be a miracle if she even gets out of the “kid’s table” debates onto the big stage let alone be in a position to debate Trump about anything unless she believes that having her staffers lobbing Twitter grenades at him is what passes for debate.
Senator Klobuchar will be eaten alive by the alpha-predators in her own party nearly immediately over reports that she bullied, abused and intimidated her staffers or in layman’s terms: she was a bitch on wheels.
According to the far-left Huffington Post, Klobuchar’s domineering personality and nasty temper led to at least three
At least three people withdrew from consideration to lead Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s presidential campaign — in part because of Klobuchar's history of mistreating her staff. https://t.co/GUI8B4Uh0l

It’s not often that a candidacy would essentially be over the day that it was launched but “snowwoman” is going to struggle to get even a measly one-percent compared to the angry cranks with national followings who she will be butting heads with.
