Three UCLA Basketball players get RELEASED in China after Trump intervenes

Imagine for a moment if Barack Hussein Obama were to aide in the release of 3 black basketball players overseas. The media would immediately praise him for standing up for minorities, even when they are overseas.

Sadly when Trump does it, the media doesn’t give a damn. Not…at…all.

Last week, three UCLA basketball players idiotically robbed a Chinese gift shop and were subsequently put in custody. Well, being the great President that Trump is, he assisted them to freedom. We obviously don’t condone their actions, but China can have incredibly harsh penalties for this kind of act, so hopefully they can be disciplined by the school in different ways when they get home.

Here’s the story from the Daily Caller:

LiAngelo Ball and his two UCLA basketball teammates were freed from Chinese custody early Tuesday after President Donald Trump intervened on their behalf.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill had all boarding a Delta flight home after being detained for over a week. They slipped out of possibly serving up to ten years for allegedly stealing from a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou, China.

Trump spoke directly to Chinese President Xi Jinping about the players during his trip to Asia, and now they’re out less than 24 hours later.

It also doesn’t hurt Trump that LaVar Ball loves sharing his opinions and is routinely on television. You can probably expect some really positive comments from the head of the Ball family. It looks like Trump played this situation perfectly.

Even though the liberal media won’t give him credit for this, we applaud him for helping these kids get out of trouble.
