Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden suggested starting a “real physical revolution” and using “brass knuckles” if the Republican-controlled Senate won’t pass his agenda as commander-in-chief.
While addressing the Poor People’s Campaign on Monday, moderator and MSNBC host Joy Reid asked Biden how he would get his proposals through a GOP-led Senate.
“If we can’t get a consensus, nothing happens,” Biden said.
“There are certain things where it just takes a brass knuckle fight,” he continued, turning dark.
“There’s no way to do it, what you do is when they say we’re not going to support you, you did what I did last time,” he said, claiming he campaigned for Democrats running in 2018 and helped to elect them.
“You have to go out and beat these folks if they don’t agree with you by making your case,” Biden said.
“And that’s what presidents are supposed to do — persuade the public. Move people as to what’s going on,” he said.
“So you go out and beat them,” he referred to his political opponents.
“You make the case — you make an explicit case,” Biden said.
“If you start off with the notion there’s nothing you can do, well, you might as well all go home then, man,” he said.
“Or let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it because we have to be able to change what we’re doing within our system,” Biden added.
Biden has come under fire countless times since announcing his presidential bid less than two months ago.
Last week, he found himself in hot water again for plagiarizing a slogan from Michael Avenatti, the anti-Trump lawyer who briefly flirted with a 2020 run of his own before being indicted on multiple charges.
During a rally on Tuesday in Iowa, Biden said: “He says, ‘let’s make America great again.’ Let’s make America America again.”
Avenatti has used that slogan in public at least four times in the past year.
Earlier this month, Biden’s campaign getting busted for copying language for his environmental plan word-for-word from environmental nonprofits without attribution.
The former VP unveiled his $5 trillion “revolutionary” plan, titled, “The Biden Plan for a Clean Energy Revolution & Environmental Justice.”
Several economists say the plan will cost at least $5 trillion over the next ten years and could bankrupt the country.
Despite four women accusing Biden of highly inappropriate behavior in the past two months, it’s all apparently just one big joke to him.
And he is apparently getting so desperate for Obama’s endorsement, Biden went public and used a childish bracelet with charms to make him seem like he’s Obama’s BFF.
