Freshman Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez must think the American people won’t care that she’s constantly spouting falsehoods.
She must think the mainstream media will continue running interference to protect her brand.
Unfortunately for the country, she may be right.
Once again, AOC (and an adviser) were busted in another blatant lie.
From The Daily Wire:
Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her team were caught making false statements about a document on the “Green New Deal” that they published on the congresswoman’s website after Ocasio-Cortez was widely mocked across the political spectrum.
Ocasio-Cortez published a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document on her congressional page that contained numerous outrageous statements, including that her “Green New Deal” sought to provide economic protections to those who were “unwilling to work.”
On Friday, Ocasio-Cortez adviser Robert Hockett appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” where he made multiple false statements about the FAQ document published by Ocasio-Cortez’s team.
Watch what happens when Tucker Carlson steps out of the conservative bubble and brings on an @AOC policy adviser who debunks all the conservative media lies straight to his face (spoiler: it doesn't go great for Tucker) pic.twitter.com/joDNXBBB7G

Here’s proof that AOC was being untruthful:
Here's an archived version of the now-deleted @AOC's House webpage with the #GreenNewDeal FAQ's and the "guarantee" in all its glory: "It guarantees to everyone… Economic security to all who are… unwilling to work."https://t.co/UlOtwgD3dT pic.twitter.com/qr29dzU2fV

AOC sent this tweet in an attempt to fight back after being mocked:
When your #GreenNewDeal legislation is so strong that the GOP has to resort to circulating false versions, but the real one nets 70 House cosponsors on Day 1 and all Dem presidential candidates sign on anyway https://t.co/BbHIn8cu0f

Check out the interview below featuring AOC’s adviser and Fox News’ Tucker Carlson:
Alexandria doesn’t want another dime to go toward funding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Ocasio-Cortez seems to not understand the harsh realities of socialism, calling for higher taxes on American citizens.
President Trump won’t have it.
President Donald Trump blasted far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) while talking to reporters on Thursday, highlighting the collapse of socialist Venezuela as an example of how her policies do not work.
Trump: “We’re looking at Venezuela, it’s a very sad situation. That was the richest state in all of that area. That’s a big, beautiful area and by far the richest. And now it’s one of the poorest places in the world.”
Trump: “That’s what socialism gets you when they want to raise your taxes to 70%. I’ve been watching our opponents, our future opponents talking about 70%. Number one, they can’t do it for 70%. It’s got to probably be twice that number.”
Trump: “But, maybe more importantly, what happens is you really have to study and take a look at what has happened to Venezuela. Is a very sad situation. We have our eye very closely on Venezuela.”
President Trump takes a shot at Ocasio-Cortez: "We’re looking at Venezuela, it’s a very sad situation. Ocasio-Cortez wants to be known as a “radical.” She made that abundanttly clear in her “60 Minutes” interview.
While speaking with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, AOC called for a 70% tax on America’s highest earners.
Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal” aims to eliminate carbon emissions within 12 years. Speaking about the ambitious goal, Ocasio-Cortez says, “It’s going to require a lot of rapid change that we don’t even conceive as possible right now. What is the problem with trying to push our technological capacities to the furthest extent possible?”
To pay for the plan, Ocasio-Cortez floated the idea of tax rates as high as 70 percent on the ultra-rich.
AOC: “You know, you look at our tax rates back in the ’60s and when you have a progressive tax rate system, your tax rate, you know, let’s say, from zero to $75,000 may be ten percent or 15 percent, et cetera. But once you get to, like, the tippy tops, on your 10 millionth dollar, sometimes you see tax rates as high as 60 or 70 percent. That doesn’t mean all $10 million are taxed at an extremely high rate, but it means that as you climb up this ladder you should be contributing more.”
