WATCH: Sarah Sanders eloquently owns Jim Acosta after he tries to smear President Trump

Shut down and put in his place

Sarah Sanders doesn’t mess around when it comes to her press room. She is the Queen and reporters need to keep in line or she will gladly escort them. Jim Acosta loves to try and push her buttons but keeps getting smashed right back down into his place. Don’t mess with her.

Of course Acosta was trying to play up the narrative that Trump is supporter his former aide despite domestic abuse allegations. Sanders quickly reminded Acosta that Trump stands for fair DUE PROCESS regardless of the allegations at hand. Jim was left silent.

Acosta started by referencing a tweet from the President over the weekend.

“Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused – life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?” Trump tweeted.

Acosta questioned , “Is there a tone deafness there? Is there just, being on the wrong side of things?”

“I don’t think the president being on–supporting due process is not tone deaf. I think it is allowing things to be investigated and a mere allegation not being the determining factor. He is not taking a side necessarily one way or the other on any specific issue here. He’s talking about mere allegations shouldn’t be the determining factor for any individual, that there should be due process.” Sanders shot back.

The CNN reporter then tried to interrupt Sarah but she quickly shut him down.

“I think anybody here, if they were accused of something, hold on, I’m not finished…” She said while holding up her signature hush finger.

“Jim, hold on. What I’m saying is I think anybody here, if they were accused of something, would want the opportunity to go through due process. That’s all we’re saying.”
