Pelosi Dead Silent On Omar’s 9/11 Comment, Now DEMANDS Trump Remove His Viral Video Tweet

After embattled Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s absurd comment on 9/11 where she said “some people did something,” President Trump, like the rest of the nation, took notice.

POTUS sent the following viral tweet, letting Omar know that proud Americans will never forget what happened on that day…

Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has refused to condemn Omar for her words (just like every other Congressional Democrat), is now demanding that Trump remove his tweet.

Why?

Because 45’s tweet is a danger to Ilhan’s safety, she argues.

From Daily Wire:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demanded that President Donald Trump take down the video that he tweeted out on Friday that accurately portrayed Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) trivializing the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

She wrote:

POLL: Do you stand with TRUMP in his fight for the border wall?

Following the president’s tweet, I spoke with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff. They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces.

The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.

How ridiculous is Pelosi? How ridiculous is Omar?

What a shame.

More:

Last year, Pelosi endorsed “collateral damage” against Americans who do not share her views and the views of the Democratic Party.

At this point, even Omar knows she messed up. She has to.

It is extremely obvious by her recent tweet about George W. Bush, where she compares her words to the former president. She’s out of ideas.

The problem is that Bush’s comments came just days after the attacks where nearly 3,000 were killed. Nobody knew anything about radical Islamic terror at the time.

“The people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” President George W. Bush

Was Bush downplaying the terrorist attack?

What if he was a Muslim 🤔

As you’d imagine, Omar took Bush’s words out-of-context for her own benefit.

Here’s Bush’s speech on that day in 2001, per MarketWatch:

President Bush: I want you all to know that America today, America today is on bended knee, in prayer for the people whose lives were lost here, for the workers who work here, for the families who mourn. The nation stands with the good people of New York City and New Jersey and Connecticut as we mourn the loss of thousands of our citizens

Rescue Worker: I can’t hear you!

President Bush: I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!
