Last week marked what could be a key turning point in the Democratic party as sniping between Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez erupted into a full-scale feud.
The socialist Twitter diva has repaid Pelosi’s promotion of her as one of the new diverse faces of the party with insolence and when she was called out, she went to the Washington Post to accuse the Speaker of being a racist.
In a rare airing of grievances with AOC and her “squad” along with the powerful group Justice Democrats, House members rallied to Pelosi’s defense including the official House Dem Twitter account which sent off a shocking rebuke to radical Saikat Chakrabarti who serves as AOC’s chief of staff who is calling for primary challenges.
The young extremists are the vanguard of the new order that is determined to impose their
communism socialism on unsuspecting Americans and making nice with Nancy isn’t compatible with the plan for a political revolution.
Now the canny old leader of that revolution, Senator Bernie Sanders has openly sided with his young protege against Pelosi and the old order and did so during an appearance on NBC’s “Meet The Press” on Sunday morning.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., weighed in on the infighting that has been going on in the Democratic party recently, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi trading barbs with freshman representatives led by New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
In a recent New York Times interview, Pelosi was dismissive of the group known as the “Squad,” which is made up of AOC, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass. Ocasio-Cortez drew criticism for her response, which accused the speaker of taking aim at women of color. Sanders agrees that Pelosi has gone too far.
“I think a little bit,” Sanders said Sunday when NBC’s Chuck Todd asked if Pelosi was being too tough on them. Sanders, however, focused on the Squad’s youth instead of their ethnicities.
“I think you cannot ignore the young people of this country who are passionate about economic and racial and social and environmental justice. You gotta bring them in, not alienate them,” he said.
And therein lies this cunning old commie’s key to success – bring the clueless young brats into the revolution by playing to their emotions and seducing them with promises of free stuff and a shining utopia of forced diversity once they gain control of the government.
Spoken like the very dangerous man that Comrade Bernie is and yet he is given free time on national television to promote his poisonous ideology.
The idea that Pelosi has been “too hard” on AOC’s squad of vicious race-baiters, liars, and anti-Semites is laughable and they have been getting a free pass despite disgraceful and hateful statements that only a few short years ago would have likely led to a formal censure.
But this is no longer a normal political party and the ongoing appeasement of these four fanatical demagogues has already done serious and possibly irreversible damage to the Democrats.
Whether or not he wins the nomination, it’s Bernie’s party now.
