Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have finally pushed her act too far after she suggested that Nancy Pelosi is a racist and is now facing some long overdue pushback from Democrat House members including one who blasted her “ignorance beyond belief.”
Ever since the 29-year-old socialist firebrand burst onto the scene last summer, she has been elevated by a corrupt media and protected by Pelosi who despite her ignorance, lying and Holocaust trivialization gave AOC a free pass.
That pass now appears to have been revoked after the Twitter diva went after Pelosi one time too many, this time in a Washington Post story where she strongly implied that the Speaker’s recent criticism of AOC’s ‘squad’ was racially motivated.
In an unexpected development, Pelosi’s allies finally broke free from their paralysis and fear of AOC’s Twitter mob to clap back at the petulant princess whose “Ignorance is beyond belief.”
Those are the words of Rep. William Lacy Clay, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus who made it clear that Ocasio-Cortez has gone a bridge too far with her attack on Pelosi.

Rep. Wm. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) unloaded on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday for “using the race card” after Ocasio-Cortez accused Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) of being racially insensitive.
Clay, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, fumed at Ocasio-Cortez and the group of progressive lawmakers that includes Reps. Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.) and Ayanna Pressley (Mass.).
“What a weak argument, because you can’t get your way and because you’re getting pushback you resort to using the race card? Unbelievable. That’s unbelievable to me,” Clay said. “I could care less. I could really care less. I agree with the Speaker. Four people, four votes out of 240 people, who cares.”
In an interview with The Washington Post on Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez accused Pelosi of singling out newly elected women of color.
“It shows you how weak their argument is when they have to resort and direct racist accusations toward Speaker Pelosi … it’s very disappointing to me,” Clay said.
The Missouri Democrat also described Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti and the progressive group Justice Democrats as “juvenile” and “ignorant.”
“It shows you how ignorant and little history [Chakrabarti] knows, how ignorant he is to American history. How dare he,” Clay said.
It also marked the first counterattack on the Justice Democrats, an influential group that promotes racial divisiveness, chaos and what many would describe as communism.
Rep. Lacy Clay’s calling out of AOC’s COS Saikat Chakrabarti comes after the 33-year-old called out all Democrats who didn’t bow to the socialists as racists.
The Justice Democrats have also incurred the wrath of the Congressional Black Caucus for their moves to mount primary challenges against its members by promoting far-left extremists.
AOC says Pelosi targets women of color. The Congressional Black Caucus accuses Justice Democrats of targeting minority members. Welcome to today’s Democratic Party, where everything is about race. https://t.co/3wnpxuHmx1

The smackdown of Ocasio-Cortez has been a long time coming and longtime House Dems had to be furious that the mouthy young upstart has sucked up media attention while acting like the proverbial bull in a China shop.
The outbreak of hostilities between the now warring factions also should serve as a cautionary tale on how a reliance on the cynical use of the explosive substance of racial resentment for political gain often blows up and it just did exactly that with the Democrats.
