Many people know that there are certain things that you can’t do if you want to win the democratic nomination for president. So when favorite front runner Joe Biden broke the rules, he lost some of his favor. And what was his crime? He had the nerve to call Vice President Mike Pence “a decent guy.” You just don’t do that. When he realized his mistake, he caved and did a 360. That’s old news, and you can read all about that story HERE.
So why are we still talking about it? Well, as big a blunder as that was, an even bigger one was committed on Thursday by 2020 presidential hopeful Kamala Harris (D-CA). She attacked Joe Biden’s words, which should have been a safe bet. So why did it come back to haunt her?
As reported by The Daily Wire:
On Thursday, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) made a nasty assertion about Vice President Mike Pence, claiming that he denied professional women meetings and thus impeded their careers. That prompted Alyssah Farah, a senior advisor to Pence, to denounce Harris, snapping on Twitter, “Get your facts straight.”
So what did she say? You can see her controversial comments below:
Kamala Harris declines to say whether or not Mike Pence is a decent man.
"I disagree when he suggests it's not possible to have meetings with women alone by himself. I think that's ridiculous." pic.twitter.com/0TfdjC8Kds

Her comment about denying “opportunity” was:
I disagree with him when he suggests it’s not possible to have meetings with women alone by himself. I think that’s ridiculous — the idea that you would deny a professional woman the opportunity to have a meeting with the vice president of the United States is outrageous.”
Harris was probably unaware that when she spoke about the “opportunities” that were being “denied” to women, that it would bring up the “opportunities” that should have been “denied” to her, had Willie Brown had any morals whatsoever.
As reported by Red State:
Of course Harris disagrees with the vice president on the issue of women dining alone with powerful married men because she herself as a rising star in California politics was a beneficiary of dining alone (and often) with a powerful married man.
And if you have any questions about it, just ask the powerful married man himself. He seems quite happy to remind people about their affair.
So what did the former San Francisco mayor have to say about Kamala and the “opportunities” he gave her as a result of being his mistress?
“I’ve been peppered with calls from the national media about my relationship with Kamala Harris, particularly since it became obvious that she was going to run for president. Most of them, I have not returned. Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago. Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly Speaker.”
Ouch. So instead of mocking Pence, Kamala Harris actually succeeding in bringing mockery upon herself. Someone else who joined in the mockery of Harris was the vice president’s press secretary, Alyssa Farah, was NOT HAPPY about Kamala’s remarks.
Look at what she had to say on Twitter:
Hi, @SenKamalaHarris: I’m a female Senior Advisor to Mike Pence & am wondering why you are repeating this false claim? He’s elevated women to positions of leadership throughout his career & relies on their advice & counsel. Get your facts straight. https://t.co/oCTHKQpcdn

And Farah was not the only one who had some choice words to give to Kamala.
.@SenKamalaHarris, any suggestion that the @VP has not supported women is blatantly false and disrespectful. He has been a strong supporter and mentor to me throughout my entire career and, I would not be where I am today without his guidance. https://t.co/kZtYUtjgKV

Looks like Pence has made a pretty good impression on some of his female staff, and he didn’t even force them to have to have “alone” time with him. Rather than taking time to criticize, Kamala might do better to take some time to take notes.
