MORE PLAGIARIZING: Joe Biden In Hot Water For Stealing Michael Avenatti’s Slogan

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is in hot water again for plagiarizing, this time for stealing a slogan from Michael Avenatti.

During a rally on Tuesday in Iowa, Biden took a phrase that Avenatti has used several times in recent months.

“He says, ‘let’s make America great again,’” Biden said of Trump. “Let’s make America America again.”

Turns out, Avenatti — the anti-Trump lawyer who briefly flirted with a 2020 run of his own before being indicted on multiple charges — has repeatedly used that same slogan in public.

Avenatti on Tuesday tweeted, “Since I won’t be using it, I’m happy @JoeBiden is using ‘Let’s Make America America Again.’ Because it’s a damn good slogan and message.”

Adding even more hilarity to the entire situation, Avenatti used the line back in April when he was endorsing Biden for president.

“I am extremely happy that @JoeBiden has decided to enter the race,” Avenatti tweeted at the time. “He offers Dems the very best chance in 2020, especially in key states. He has the fight, intelligence and fortitude to beat Trump and begin to make America, America again. He has my enthusiastic support.”

Avenatti also tweeted the line in 2018, saying, “We must fight fire with fire and we must send a message that we will fight to make America America again.”

This is the second time in less than two weeks that Biden’s campaign has come under fire for plagiarism.

Earlier this month, Biden’s campaign got busted for copying language for his environmental plan word-for-word from environmental nonprofits without attribution.

Earlier this week, Biden unveiled his $5 trillion “revolutionary” plan, titled, “The Biden Plan for a Clean Energy Revolution & Environmental Justice.”

Major chunks of it were completely plagiarized word-for-word from environmental nonprofits without attribution.

In Biden’s plan, the campaign writes about carbon capture technology:

“Carbon capture, use, and storage (CCUS) is a rapidly growing technology that has the potential to create economic benefits for multiple industries while significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions.”

But in a letter from Blue Green Alliance Executive Director Kim Glas, the sentence is essentially the exact same:

“Carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) is a rapidly growing technology that has potential to create economic benefits for multiple industries while significantly reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.”

In a second instance, here’s what Biden’s plan writes about their goals regarding carbon capture:

“Biden’s goal is to make CCUS a widely available, cost-effective, and rapidly scalable solution to reduce carbon emissions to meet mid-century climate goals.”

That line is almost identical to the “our work” section of the website for the Carbon Capture Coalition’s Center for Climate and Energy Solutions:

“Its goal is to make carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS) a widely available, cost-effective, and rapidly scalable solution to reduce carbon emissions to meet mid-century climate goals.”

In a third example of Biden’s cheating, his plan describes U.S. sewage systems:

“The average American sewage pipe is 33 years old, with many pipes dating back 50 or even 100 years.”

American Rivers has the exact same sentence structure on their infrastructure section of their website:

“As a result, the average American sewage pipe is 33 years old, with many pipes dating back 50 or even 100 years.”

Another day, another Biden plagiarizing scandal.
