Michael Avenatti Announces Final Decision On 2020 Presidential Run

Michael Avenatti has announced that he is no longer interested in running for President of the United States in the 2020 election against incumbent Donald Trump.

Avenatti, best known for representing Stormy Daniels and presenting several potential clients who had false claims against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

It was later revealed that the allegations his clients presented were not deemed credible and so far nothing has been done with their claims.

Who would win a 2020 election match-up: Trump or Biden?

Avenatti stated, “I do not make this decision lightly — I make it out of respect for my family. But for their concerns, I would run…”

The attorney has two teen-aged daughters and a four-year-old son.

Avenatti was also recently arrested for domestic violence allegations and later in an online dispute with Jacob Wohl. The attorney also faces court hearings and legal proceedings, an ongoing divorce with his second wife, and what seems to be a plethora of issues to deal with. All these issues on his plate and not enough time to eat.

Stormy Daniels then hit Avenatti with a proverbial hammer when she suggested that he sued President Trump for defamation against her wishes, not to mention her complaining about a crowdsourced legal account and lack of transparency. Although, according to some sources, Daniels and Avenatti have made good with each other.

VOTER POLL: Does Trump have your vote in 2020?

Avenatti spoke with Politico and also tweeted multiple times referencing his decision, writing in a series of tweets:

The events of the last 2-3 weeks have had no impact on my plans or decision making process…

I think the field is shaping up to be even more advantageous for someone like me, not less…

I think my chances have only gone up, not gone down…

I remain concerned that the Democratic Party will move toward nominating an individual who might make an exceptional President but has no chance of actually beating Donald Trump…

The party must immediately recognize that many of the likely candidates are not battle tested and have no real chance at winning. We will not prevail in 2020 without a fighter. I remain hopeful the party finds one.

Avenatti remains active on Twitter, often times conjuring quite a response from readers, some very sarcastic.

“Please see my statement below regarding 2020.”

“Literally shaking rn. The system is broken. Please re-consider, Michael. America needs you!”

“This is a gut-punch, a slap in the face. We needed you to do what you do best – batter the opponent until they leave. It beats me why you wouldn’t fight for us?”

“I also would like to confirm that I will not seek the presidency either and I had as much chance as you had”

“I’m just here for the comments but after Stormy Daniels threw you under the bus you should run as fast as you can away from her too.”

“Bummer, between you, Kamala & Spartacus; the memes would’ve been hilarious.”

“Aside from just be an all-around disaster, nothing about your experience qualifies you to be President, even with the astonishingly low bar for expertise we’ve set for ourselves. This was a rare smart move.”
