Leaked photos from the U.S.-Mexico border expose the real crisis that Democrats do not want the American people to see.
A source leaked images of a U.S. border facility to Breitbart, and the pictures definitely prove President Donald Trump’s argument that there’s a crisis at the border.
The two images show that U.S. border facilities are being overwhelmed by a huge influx of migrants.
Breitbart reports that the images are from Feb. 17, 2019, and were taken at a Customs and Border Protection processing, detention, and transport facility in El Paso, Texas.
CHECK THEM OUT:
The two images show that there’s almost literally no more space in the rooms for migrants to sit or stand.
The CBP source who reportedly provided the images to Breitbart stated that “The medical staff at the facility can’t keep doing this. They are getting overwhelmed.”
Another source at CBP also told Breitbart that the conditions are getting worse and that something must be done to address the problem.
Here’s the statement to Breitbart from the second source:
“This is no different from what we were dealing with during the Obama Administration. This is happening in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, the Del Rio Sector, the El Paso Sector, the Tucson Sector, the Yuma Sector, and the San Diego Sector. It’s almost across the entire Southwest border that we are being overwhelmed by migrant families.” The source added, “We are basically facilitating Mexican cartels’ migrant smuggling operations into the interior of America. We are babysitting and not securing our border. The flow shows no signs of abating and it keeps increasing.”
The horrifying images come as Trump secured $1.375 billion in border wall funding in congressional deal and declared a national emergency last Friday.
While Democrats are doing everything imaginable to prevent Trump from building the wall on the southern border between the United States and Mexico — which experts argue would keep the nation safer — Trump has a few options up his sleeve.
During a hearing last month before the House Armed Services Committee, Under-Secretary of Defense for Policy John Rood told Rep. Mo Brooks, R-AL, that there’s a loophole that would allow Trump to build the wall without Congress or having to declare a national emergency.
Rood and Brooks discussed 10 U.S. Code § 284, which appears to indicate that the president of the United States can direct America’s military to build a wall.
In fact, Trump may even have a “Plan C.”
Lepor argues that several former president’s have used the “unobligated balances” and that there would be a clear precedent for Trump to do the same thing to build the wall.
