ABC’s “The View” co-host Joy Behar called Meghan McCain an “entitled b*tch” and threatened to quit the show if the producers didn’t “get this b*tch under control.”
According to sources who spoke with the Daily Mail, the fiery clash began after McCain took issue with Behar using a segment paying tribute to former President George H.W. Bush to attack President Donald Trump.
After applauding Bush for signing the Clean Air Act as president, Behar then went after Trump.
“This president that we have now is trying to unravel everything that he did and Obama did, and if I ever become a one-issue voter it will be about pollution and the greenhouse eff–” Behar began before McCain jumped in.
“Can we focus on the president, please. I don’t want to talk about Trump, we’re honoring a great president,” McCain said.
And then it got heated between the two:
Behar: “Excuse me a second, please. I want to talk about–”
McCain: “We’re honoring a great president who passed and I’m not interested in your one-issue voting.”
Behar: “I don’t care what you’re interested in. I’m talking!”
McCain: “Well I don’t care what you’re interested in either, Joy.”
Then, co-host Whoopi Goldberg cut to a commercial break in hopes that it would defuse the situation, but it didn’t.
When the camera backed away, viewers can see McCain and Behar leaning toward each other and exchanging words.
Sources told The Daily Mail that Behar blew up on McCain and hurled several nasty insults.
Behar reportedly threw her hands in the air and shouted: “My God! Get this b***h under control.”
“If this s**t doesn’t stop I’m quitting this d*mn show. I can’t take this much more,” Behar allegedly yelled.
Producers ran to the stage to calm them down, but Behar reportedly continued to shout at McCain.
“I’ve tolerated a lot of s**t on this show but I’m at my wit’s end with this entitled b***h. Enough already! Enough already! I’m not playing nice any longer,” Behar fumed.
Behar calling McCain a “b*tch” comes just days after the ABC host criticized singer Kid Rock for calling her a “b*tch.”
During a segment last Friday on “Fox & Friends” Rock had some strong words for Behar.
“It’s so hard for people just to get past that we can disagree and still be cordial with one another,” he continued.
“You know, and just talk about things without going for each other’s throats and protesting everything and — God forbid you say something a little bit wrong — you’re racist, homophobic, Islamophobic. This, that and the other. People need to calm down, get a little less politically correct. And I would say, you know, love everybody,” he continued.
“Except I’d say screw that Joy Behar b*tch. Everybody but that,” Rock said.
