The bogus BuzzFeed storythat was the grenade that detonated in the Democrat bunker continues to reverberate as the House lynch mob got some terrible news this afternoon.
Star witness Micheal Cohen who was the subject of the fake news fiasco that drew a smackdown from special counsel Robert Mueller himself spoiled the impeachment party when he suddenly pulled out of his scheduled testimony in early February.
According to the man who has been dubbed as “the rat” by many who believe that he would say anything to save his own skin, Cohen won’t be attending what was set up to be a nationally-televised spectacle that would provide House Democrats with the “evidence” that they needed to impeach President Trump and in doing so, avenge Hillary’s bitter loss in 2016.
Cohen’s decision to “postpone” his scheduled testimony was made public through a statement from his attorney, Clinton loyalist Lanny Davis who cited unspecified “threats” against the rat’s family by Trump and the president’s increasingly erratic lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer and longtime fixer, announced through a spokesman Wednesday that he wouldn’t testify before Congress on Feb. 7 because of “threats” from the president.
Cohen has been sentenced to three years in prison for a series of federal crimes, including campaign finance violations and tax evasion. He was scheduled to testify about his dealings with Trump before the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
Cohen’s testimony was highly anticipated because he is cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into election interference and Cohen’s payoffs to two women just before Trump’s election in 2016.
For years, Cohen worked as Trump’s most strident defender in legal, business and political matters yet turned on him as federal prosecutors honed in on his business and legal dealings. Cohen referred to threats from Trump and his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.
“Due to ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen’s continued cooperation with ongoing investigations, by advice of counsel, Mr. Cohen’s appearance will be postponed to a later date,” said Lanny Davis, a Cohen spokesman. “This is a time when Mr. Cohen had to put his family and their safety first.”
Skeptics will be quick to point out that Cohen is already on record as being a notorious liar and that any allegations of “threats” could be fabrications.
The timing is very suspect coming only days after Mueller’s calling B.S. on BuzzFeed’s scoop which until it was blown out of the water was all but certainly intended to lay the groundwork for weeks of 24/7 propaganda leading up to the day when unhinged Democrat Elijah Cummings rolled out the red carpet for Cohen for what would be damning
lies testimony against Trump.
But sometimes stuff happens.
In an interesting side note, the now radioactive BuzzFeed’s next big story that if not for Mueller’s sinking of their battleship came out on Tuesday but bombed with no fake news mill willing to touch it.

Oh, what could have been…
As for Cohen, he is scheduled to report to his country club prison in March so he may have left Cummings and company holding the bag.
