The Daily Caller has obtained leaked text messages from FBI agents who oversaw the Clinton email investigation, and they reveal that they felt “presser” to exonerate Crooked Hillary before she was even INTERVIEWED by the Bureau.
On July 1, 2016, FBI lawyer Lisa Page and counterintelligence official Peter Strzok exchanged text messages where they talk about Loretta Lynch’s foreknowledge that they would let Hillary off the hook ahead of time.
In one text message, Page says “She [Loretta Lynch] knows no charges will be brought”. Keep in mind, this is before the FBI made their alleged “decision” only after interviewing Hillary.
Here are the text messages that were made public on Friday:
Here’s more analysis from the Daily Caller:
The shocking texts were included in a batch of 384 pages of messages provided to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) by the Justice Department on Friday.
The release is in addition to a batch of Strzok-Page texts that were released by the agency last month. Those exchanges revealed that the two FBI officials, who worked on both the Clinton and Trump investigations, harbored deep anti-Trump sentiments.
These texts have generated outrage from Republicans who have questioned whether the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign was clouded by political bias. The new releases are likely to renew that outrage, as well as questions over why Strzok felt that there was new pressure to end the Clinton investigation just because of a Trump victory in the Republican primary.
Strzok and Page had the conversation after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz dropped out of the Republican race, a move which cleared Trump’s path to the GOP nomination.
Page wrote: “It’s going to be a Clinton Trump race. Unbelievable.”
“Now the pressure really starts to finish MYE…,” Strzok wrote.
“MYE” is a reference to “Mid Year Exam,” the FBI’s code name for the Clinton probe.
Strzok and Page also suggested in a text exchange on July 1, 2016 that Lynch, the Obama-appointed attorney general, knew when she recused herself from the Clinton investigation that charges would not be brought against the former secretary of state.
This all gets worse when you remember that it was reported yesterday that FIVE MONTHS worth of text messages from these two have been somehow “lost” by the FBI.
Many Twitter users and lawmakers responded to these revelations:
First the IRS destroyed emails pivotal to our investigation of their political targeting.
Now the FBI "failed to preserve" texts between Peter Strzok & Lisa Page following the '16 election.
The time for a second special counsel is now.https://t.co/BonrBlsJsB

Congress needs to (1) subpoena from the cell service Strzok & Page text messages; & (2) request FBI perform full forensic exam of their employees' phones to see if they can recover the messages. Let the line shine brightly on the truth!

Unreal. We've been asking for the remaining text messages between anti-Trump FBI agents (and former Mueller team members), Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The FBI now says the texts are "missing."
If it wasn't already clear we need a second special counsel, it's abundantly clear now https://t.co/nvpNY4s4QV

The “missing” Strzok & Page FBI texts are from 12/14/16 til 5/17/17, a time period including:
— Presidential Transition
— Trump Dossier Published
— Strzok interview of Flynn
— Flynn Fired
— Comey Memos Written/Leaked
— Comey Fired
— Launch of Mueller Probehttps://t.co/YJ1z1fPXyW

Wonder how many leaks came from Strzok and Page during this period given the FBI ‘failed to preserve’ five months of text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page from 12/14/16 to 5/17/17. https://t.co/D5VUg1lNdQ
