Now that the Mueller report has been released the goal posts are being shifted from collusion to obstruction as Democrats and their media lickspittles focus their impeachment efforts on all of the cherry-picked gossip in the special counsel’s costly boondoggle.
Not that anyone who has observed them over the last two and a half years would expect otherwise, the promoters of the biggest hoax in American political history have been busily spinning the results of Mueller’s witch hunt to absolve themselves of promoting lies and conspiracies and show no signs of relenting in their jihad against President Trump.
One of those who has joined with his Democrat comrades is one Willard “Mitt” Romney who was quick to rush to stab the duly elected POTUS in the back while claiming that he was “sickened” by the taxpayer-funded opposition research in the Mueller report.

Via The Hill, “Romney ‘sickened’ by Trump’s behavior in Mueller report”:
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said Friday that he is “sickened” by the behavior described in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, including the actions of President Trump.
“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney said in a statement posted to Twitter.
Romney’s comments came a day after Attorney General William Barr released the 448-page report detailing Mueller’s findings from his probe into the 2016 election and the Trump campaign as well as his conclusion that Congress may probe potential obstruction of justice.
The backstabbing former governor of ultra-liberal Massachusetts also invoked the Founding Fathers in his gutless blindsiding of Trump:

The man who blew the 2012 election and subjected the country to the ruinous second four years of the Barack Obama horror thanks to his choking “like a dog” has never been able to process that Trump was able to craft a winning appeal to conservatives while he couldn’t even capitalize on a wounded foe in an election that he should have easily won.
Mitt’s decision to launch his latest barb at Trump via Twitter pretty much seals the deal with any fence-sitters that he wasn’t always a sniveling, chickensh*t bastard from the get-go and a coward nonetheless.
When Romney had his chance to get into the ring with the other sixteen candidates during the 2016 GOP primaries he instead chose to cower on the sidelines while Trump shredded everyone in his way like Clint Eastwood working his way through the bad guys at the end of Pale Rider.
Lacking the intestinal fortitude to mix it up with Trump mano-a-mano, Romney instead worked with other Never Trumpers like neocon Bill Kristol to find a surrogate to do their dirty work for them but the only taker for a third party run to alter the course of history was the forlorn former spook Evan McMullin who ended up as roadkill.
Now Mitt is clearly disappointed and doubly so with Nancy Pelosi and her top underling Steny Hoyer actively discouraging impeachment out of concern that it will lead to the mother of all electoral drubbings in next year’s critical elections.
One thing is certain, Romney’s outburst makes it pretty clear that he is one of those “Republicans” in the Senate who would have voted to have Trump removed from office.
To quote the legendary American writer H.L. Mencken: “Imagine a gentleman, and you have imagined everything that he was not.”
