President Trump made a surprise trip to Iraq on Christmas night to visit United States Army troops.
During his visit, the President took pictures with troops and gave a speech thanking them for their service.

One moment, in particular, stood out the most from President Trump’s visit. It happened when the President spoke with a soldier about his decision to return to the military.
A soldier told President Trump he came back into the military because of him.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted, “Powerful moment – Member of United States Army told the President he came back into the military because of him. And President Trump responded, “And I am here because of you.” I met him after and he gave me the patch from his arm. Incredible.”

That, ladies and gentlemen, is the President WE THE PEOPLE elected in 2016!
It didn’t take long for the media to attack Trump for “caving to them” and scheduling his visit after spending multiple days for NOT visiting. There’s no winning with CNN and MSNBC!
Presidential trips to conflict zones are NOT scheduled days in advance. They’re scheduled weeks in advance w/advance teams on the ground up to 1-2 weeks prior. Your dopey suggestion that Trump took this Iraq trip in response to your criticisms this week is just dumb.

The leftist media tried to shame Trump for not visiting the troops while he was in the air en route to Iraq, then took credit for ‘shaming him’ into going to Iraq even though they tweeted after he was in the air.
And that boys and girls is Trump Derangement Syndrome.

When asked if he had concerns about his visit to Iraq, President Trump admitted he was worried, but not for himself.
According to Newsweek:
“I had concerns about the institution of the presidency,” Trump said in response to a question about the subject while in Iraq, via a pool report. “Not for myself personally. I had concerns for the first lady, I will tell you. But if you would have see what we had to go through in the darkened plane with all window closed with no light anywhere. Pitch black. I’ve been on many airplanes. All types and shapes and sizes.… So did I have a concern? Yes, I had a concern.”
