GLOVES OFF: Trump NUKES Cohen, Calls Out ‘Highly Conflicted’ Mueller In Mega-Viral Tweetstorm

President Donald  Trump took the gloves off on Friday morning in a viral tweetstorm, directly going after Michael Cohen and “highly conflicted” Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

“Arrived back in Washington last night from a very emotional reopening of a major U.S. Steel plant in Granite City, Illinois, only to be greeted with the ridiculous news that the highly conflicted Robert Mueller and his gang of 13 Angry Democrats obviously cannot find Collusion…” Trump wrote.

He followed up, “….,the only Collusion with Russia was with the Democrats, so now they are looking at my Tweets (along with 53 million other people) – the rigged Witch Hunt continues! How stupid and unfair to our Country….And so the Fake News doesn’t waste my time with dumb questions, NO,….”

Trump also ripped Cohen, his former personal attorney who has dominated headlines in recent weeks:

Trump’s anger toward his former attorney comes a few days after Cohen’s legal team provided CNN with a secret audio recording between Trump and Cohen that was reportedly taped in 2016.

The recording reveals that Trump and Cohen, his previous personal attorney, appear to be discussing plans to acquire the rights to a story about an alleged affair Trump had with former Playboy model Karen McDougal more than a decade ago.

Trump has denied the affair, and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said CNN used a selectively edited clip that does not show the full conversation.

Giuliani said CNN didn’t air part of the tape that shows Trump was asking Cohen how to do the payment legally, and he even provided CNN with a full transcript of the tape showing Trump was ordering Cohen to abide by the law.

Listen to the audio below:

There are obviously a bevy of questions surrounding why Cohen recorded the conversation, why it was leaked it to CNN, and why the liberal network aired a highly sensitive tape amid an investigation.

The tape was seized a few months ago when the FBI raided Cohen’s home, hotel, and office amid an investigation into whether any laws were broken by the Trump campaign during the election with alleged payments to McDougal and adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Aside from the Cohen-Trump clash — and serious questions about attorney client privilege — Trump also lambasted Mueller, who has at least 13 registered Democrats on his investigative team.

After more than a year of investigating, neither Mueller’s office nor Congress has produced a shred of evidence proving collusion took place between Trump’s campaign and Russia. No evidence has been presented showing that the president broke any laws or acted illegally.

Many would agree Trump has every right to be upset. His former attorney not only recorded several private conversations with his client (Trump), he also leaked one to CNN, the fake news network that the president rails against weekly.

Trump has also been cooperating and dealing with the Mueller probe for more than a year, where Democrats have endlessly spread conspiracy theories about Trump being a Russian asset. And, Mueller’s team has more than a dozen Democrats on it looking into the candidate who defeated Hillary Clinton.

A number of Americans agree that Trump should be upset.
