Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made a hypocritical attempt to get even with Donald Trump on Wednesday during an interview with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC.
So what exactly did she do this time?
Apparently, she was still upset about a comment he made in 2016 where he stated, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.”
His comment, although made in jest, did inspire Russian military officers to look into Clinton’s emails, per The Hill:
Mueller’s redacted report released last month detailed how Russian military officers targeted Clinton with hacking attempts within hours of then-candidate Trump suggesting Moscow find her emails.
“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press,” Trump said in 2016 during a campaign stop.
He later backtracked and said his comment was meant to be sarcastic.
According to the Mueller report, Russia’s military intelligence agency targeted Clinton’s personal office for the first time “five hours after Trump’s statement.”
Russian officers sent malicious links to 15 email accounts linked to the domain of Clinton’s personal office, and the “investigation did not find evidence of earlier GRU attempts to compromise accounts hosted on this domain,” according to the report.
Mueller’s 22-month investigation found that Russia sought to help Trump win the 2016 election, but that the Trump campaign did not coordinate with Moscow as part of its election interference efforts.
Unfortunately, for all the effort that Russia put in, they still weren’t able to actually counteract the obstruction that Clinton was able to achieve when she deleted some 30,000 emails, illegally kept on a server in an “old bathroom closet” in her private residence.
But all of that aside, Clinton is still bitter, judging by her attempt to sic China on Trump.
You can see the video of her ridiculous, and purposeful, attempt to thwart the president in the tweet below:

Hillary: The Republicans in the Senate wouldn’t at all go forward with some of the bipartisan legislation that was meant to secure our elections under orders from the White House.
Imagine, Rachel, that you had one of the Democratic nominees for 2020 on your show, and that person said, you know, the only other adversary of ours who is anywhere near as good as the Russians is China. So, why should Russia have all the fun? And since Russia is clearly backing Republicans, why don’t we ask China to back us.
Rachel: I hereby tonight ask China –
Hillary: That’s right. And not only that, China, if you’re listening, why don’t you get Trump’s tax returns. I’m sure our media would richly reward you.
Now according to the Mueller report, that is not conspiracy because it’s done right out in the open.
So, if after this hypothetical Democratic candidate says this on your show, within hours, all of a sudden, the IRS offices are bombarded with incredibly sophisticated cyber tools looking for Trump’s tax returns, and then extracts and them and then passes them to whatever the new WikiLeaks happens to be and they start being unraveled and disclosed – nothing wrong with that.
I mean, if you’re going let Russia get away with what they did and are still doing according to Christopher Wray, the current FBI director, who said that last week, they’re in our election systems. We’re worried about 2020, he said.
So, hey, let’s have a great power contest, and let’s get the Chinese in on the side of somebody else. Just saying that shows how absurd the situation we find ourselves in.
Do you think Hillary’s call for China to obtain Trump’s tax returns was called for?
Or do you think that she’s showing what a hypocritical fake she is?
