Parkland student turned anti-gun activist David Hogg is going after “old” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, saying it’s time for her to “move the f*** off the plate” and “let us take control” of the Democratic Party.
The explosive comments came during an interview published on Monday in New York Magazine, where Hogg also attacked Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, and former President Barack Obama.

The far-left activist went on to say that he believes Republicans have been politically effective because “they’re empowering young people.” He specifically mentioned Rep. Paul Ryan being 45-years-old when he became Speaker of the House, saying that’s what has made the GOP successful.
He then lambasted Pelosi and other older Democrats clinging to their seats and refusing to retire so the younger generation can take over.
“Nancy Pelosi is old,” Hogg said. “Older Democrats just won’t move the f*** off the plate and let us take control.”
Hogg also attacked Sanders, calling him “terrible on guns” and claimed that he has not done much to help advance the gun control narrative.
In what more than likely surprised many, Hogg also went after Obama for “drone warfare” and killing “a lot of civilians” throughout the Middle East. Rather than place more troops on the ground, Obama often used drone strikes as his administration’s approach to combating terrorism in the region, which led to the death of many innocent civilians caught in the crossfire.
As we all know – the Democrats must do whatever this young man says. https://t.co/LdkRT0wdi5

Hogg rose to prominence in February after he became an outspoken critic of guns after the shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida — where he attended and recently graduated.
He emerged from that attack as a veracious supporter of gun control, banning certain firearms, limiting how many bullets citizens can legally purchase, and so on.
Many agree that Hogg is nothing more than a liberal mouthpiece pushing to erode as much of the Second Amendment as he can. Joined by other students who survived the school shooting, Hogg has been leading rallies, doing interviews, and railing against guns for months, yet he still has no basic understanding of how guns function or about the current laws on the books, which ensures everyone goes through a stringent process before purchasing a firearm.
Perhaps he’s too busy lecturing Americans about diminishing the Second Amendment than educating himself on an issue he claims to be passionate about. But his calls for older Democrats to step aside is actually something many across the political aisle will agree with — especially regarding Pelosi.
Aside from never-ending media gaffes, which often entail her having a brain freeze or slurring her words, many young Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others are turning on Pelosi. They have questioned whether Pelosi should be the Speaker if Democrats retake the House of Representatives in November’s midterms.
It’s unclear what will happen in November, though several pollsters are giving the GOP a good chance of retaining control of Congress, but Hogg going after Pelosi, Sanders, and Obama is definitely not going to sit well with many of his liberal peers.
