DONE PLAYING: Trump Threatens To Close Entire Southern Border If Democrats Don’t Help

President Donald Trump has threatened to close the United States southern border if he does not get the desired funds he needs from the Democrats to ensure that his border wall is fully funded and built to improve immigration laws.

Trump has made it very clear that he would like to build a much stronger border, fight for immigration laws to be upheld, and prevent mass illegal immigration into the United States by building a wall that will separate the United States and Mexico.

Who would win a 2020 election match-up: Trump or Biden?

Trump calls upon Democratic lawmakers to step into action and provide the help he needs to secure the American border with a strong structure to prevent illegal immigrants from skipping the port of entry and walking into the country and breaking United States immigration laws, as reported by Daily Caller.

The president stated, “We would save Billions of Dollars if the Democrats would give us the votes to build the Wall. Either way, people will NOT be allowed into our Country illegally! We will close the entire Southern Border if necessary. Also, STOP THE DRUGS!”

After indirectly asking the Democrat lawmakers for help, he threatened to close the border until they spring into action and support a strong border. Trump also referenced stopping the import of drugs.

POLL: Would you choose ALEX JONES or JIM ACOSTA to get press credentials?

His message comes amid a battle with Congress over an important spending bill that demands at least 5 billion to fund his proposed wall.

VOTE NOW: On a scale of 1-10, how is Trump doing?

His border wall would be specifically along the southern border of the United States and its goal is to prevent and decrease the amount of illegal immigration and drugs from being imported into the country through the United States border with Mexico.

In a striking move from Democrats, likely a negotiation tactic, they have offered Trump’s spending bill $1.6 billion to use and some predict there could be a government shutdown if the two parties are unable to come to a working agreement.

The United States government funding could potentially lapse this week and cause the third partial shutdown of 2018. Congress has a December 7 deadline to agree on funding for particular parts of government.

One of the main items holding up an agreement is the desired amount requested for the border wall versus the amount Democrats are allowing.

VOTE NOW: Should Jim Acosta be PERMANENTLY banned from the White House?

CNBC stated that “Trump signed spending legislation in September for five agencies, such as the departments of Defense and Health and Human Services, for the next fiscal year. But lawmakers still need to fund seven other agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security.

As Congress has already approved money for large parts of the federal government, a partial shutdown will have limited effects on its core functions. The funding fight does have stakes for how much of the president’s immigration agenda he can enact as a migrant crisis plays out at the southern border.”

Democrats have offered 1.6 billion, but it’s unclear what they want in return for the full 5 billion.

President Trump appears ready to close the border, but that would likely face criticism and it’s unclear what he will do as the deadline of December 7 is just a few days away.
