House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was busted trying to collect money off fake news that President Donald Trump fired Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
On Friday, the California Democrat sent an angry email to her supporters, which was headlined, “Mueller FIRED.”
As noted by The Daily Caller, potential donors and those who viewed the email were intentionally led to believe that Trump had fired Mueller.
Pelosi conjured up fake news and spread a false doomsday scenario to convince people that the country was on a precipice of a constitutional crisis.
She went on to write that she was almost too angry to ask for money — but of course still did.
“I’m so furious I can barely write this email. President Trump is inches away from firing Robert Mueller and derailing the entire Russia investigation.”
Readers had to look at the tiny fine print at the bottom of the email before learning that Trump actually didn’t fire Mueller, and that Pelosi misled them and peddled fake news in order to solicit donations.
Pelosi goes on to write, “my Republican colleagues are actively HELPING him. They’re jeopardizing our democracy, our national security, and the safety of every election we hold. Frankly, they can’t be trusted.”
She asks, “I need a MASSIVE 24-hour fundraising surge to send them a powerful message: If they let Trump fire Mueller, we’ll kick each and EVERY one of them out of office.”
Here’s how social media users reacted to Pelosi trying to fundraise off fake news:
Last I checked Mueller hasn’t been fired Nancy….. https://t.co/fj2NWLFE4h

This seems par for the course. Moonbat Pelosi also believes that president Bush should be impeached immediately. If any charges are brought she will claim she is mentally incompetent and thus unable to form criminal intent… the Hillary Clinton defense. https://t.co/w84gbdZTLK

In fact, Trump even tweeted on Thursday — the day before Pelosi sent out the email — that he had no intention of firing Mueller.
If I wanted to fire Robert Mueller in December, as reported by the Failing New York Times, I would have fired him. Just more Fake News from a biased newspaper!

But Pelosi didn’t mind that as she was too busy spreading fake news to help the Democratic Party raise money.
And for good measure, Pelosi closed out her pathetic email saying Republicans are “jeopardizing our democracy” and that “they can’t be trusted either.”
It takes a truly deranged person to call Republicans a threat to democracy and claim they can’t be trusted in the same email where she lied and spread fake news.
