Moments ago, the White House revoked the press credentials for CNN correspondent Jim Acosta after a physical altercation between him and a female White House staffer on Wednesday morning.
The news broke literally minutes ago on social media:
BREAKING: The White House has suspended CNN's Jim Acosta's "hard pass" after his antics during today's press conference

I’ve just been denied entrance to the WH. Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit

Here’s the full statement from White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders:
“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern,” she said on Twitter.
“This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.”
“Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration,”
“As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice,” she concluded.

The Twitter reaction was immediate:
The White House has suspended (rightly) Jim Acosta's press credentials for his petulant, arrogant, childish & offensive behavior & laying hands on a female WH intern just trying to do her job.
Good for them.
Acosta is a danger to the profession.

As we mentioned earlier on ILoveMyFreedom.org, new video angles show just how forceful Acosta was when dealing with the female intern:
The original videos caught only part of the physical exchange, but new camera angles are proving that Acosta truly used force to push the female staffer out of his way.
One Twitter user used the words “karate chop” to describe Acosta’s actions:

Sebastian Gorka suggested legal action against Acosta:

After CNN posted a press released condemning the “attacks” against the free press, Benny Johnson from the Daily Caller had this to say in response:

The heated back and forth began when Acosta said he was going to “challenge” Trump on his rhetoric used when speaking about the migrant caravan coming from Central America.
Acosta took issue with Trump referring to the caravan as an “invasion”, to which Trump shot back “I consider it to be an invasion.”
“As you know, Mr. President, the caravan was not an invasion. It’s a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S. … Why did you characterize that as such?”, Acosta shot back.
“Because I consider it an invasion. You and I have a difference of opinion,” Trump responded.
“Do you think you demonized immigrants?” Acosta replied.
“No, I want them to come into the country. But they have to come in legally. They have to come in, Jim, through a process. I want it to be a process. And I want people to come in. And we need the people,” Trump fired back.
Once Trump realized that this conversation was going nowhere, he called on another reporter for a question. However, Acosta kept shouting more questions about Russia.
At that point, a female White House staffer attempted to grab the microphone from Acosta, but the CNN reporter appeared to shove her arm down with great force.
Then, Trump openly blasted Acosta and CNN:
“I am not concerned about anything with the Russian investigation, because it is a hoax. That’s enough. Put down the mic. I tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN. You are a very rude person. The way that you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible. And the way that you treat other people are horrible. You shouldn’t treat people that way,’ Trump concluded,
