Earlier in the month, President Trump announced that he wasn’t planning on attending the White House Correspondents dinner.
“The the dinner is so boring and so negative that we’re going to hold a very positive rally instead,” Trump said in a tweet. “The correspondents’ dinner is too negative. I like positive things.”
So what will President Trump be doing instead? Well according to the President’s campaign manager Brad Parscale, President Trump will be holding a rally in Green Bay Wisconsin.
“This will be an EPIC rally in Green Bay Wisconsin on April 27th! We will broadcast it live so millions can watch
@realDonaldTrump instead of the boring WHCD. This dinner is almost worse than Hollywood’s endless self-serving award shows,” Parscale said in a tweet.

Check out what the Daily Caller reported in relation to the upcoming event:
Trump has declined to attend any of the White House Correspondents Dinners since taking office, citing the constant negative or “fake” stories about him in the press. Senior administration officials attended in the president’s stead last year, but left with a sour taste in their mouths after comedienne Michelle Wolf attacked White House press secretary Sarah Sanders’ appearance and implied that she hoped a tree would fall on White House adviser Kellyanne Conway.
The WHCA opted to have a presidential historian deliver the dinner’s address this year so as to avoid potential fallout from another comedian attacking the president and his officials.
Isn’t it nice to have a president who rather hang out with the American people instead of rich entitled Hollywood liberals? Former President Obama attended all the White House Correspondents events where he sucked up to all of the elites. Just like last year, President Trump rather be with the people who got him elected.
“I’m going to hold a rally. Yeah, because the dinner is so boring and so negative that we’re going to hold a very positive rally,” Trump told reporters earlier in the month as he left the White House for a trip to the southern border.
It’s not surprising that President Trump doesn’t want to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner considering Michelle Wolf, the host of last years event, who made sick and horrendous jokes about aborted babies, Trump and other members of the administration.
Check out some of her comments from last year:
— “I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful. But she burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.”
— “Kellyanne Conway has the perfect last name for what she does: Conway. It’s like if my name was Michelle Jokes Frizzy Hair Small T**s. You guys have to stop putting Kellyanne on your shows. If you don’t give her a platform, she has nowhere to lie. It’s like that old saying: If a tree falls in the woods, how do we get Kellyanne under that tree. I’m not suggesting she gets hurt. Just stuck.”
— “He thinks abortion is murder. Which, first of all, don’t knock it ‘til you try it — and when you do try it, really knock it. You know, you’ve got to get that baby out of there. And yeah, sure, you can groan all you want. I know a lot of you are very anti-abortion. You know, unless it’s the one you got for your secret mistress.”
Thankfully, we have a President who rises above the radical Left!
