During an interview on Tuesday, Cuban slammed the 2020 Democratic presidential primary candidates and argued none of them can beat Trump in the general election.

Cuban was asked about the 22 candidates who are competing for the Democratic nomination and who he thought had the best shot at unseating Trump.

Cuban responded by saying that “nobody right now” could take the White House from Trump because “politicians are the least trusted of every profession” and that the primary candidate field is “all politicians.”

Cuban argued that the president won in 2016 because he “wasn’t a politician.”

Cuban said:

“I think what people are missing is if you look at why people voted for Donald Trump, in my opinion, it was because, first and foremost, it was because he wasn’t a politician. And look, if you look at the Democratic field, it’s all politicians, and politicians are the least trusted of every profession.”

Cuban also blasted the Democratic primary candidates’ “trickle-down taxation” proposals as being nothing more than “headline porn” to appease the far-left factions of their base.

Cuban did speak somewhat positively about former Vice President Joe Biden, saying he’s “smart” and “could do a decent job.”

“But I think it’s still way too early to tell, and there’s a lot of change yet to come,” Cuban added.

Cuban also didn’t shut the door on a presidential run of his own, saying he is still weighing the option of running as an independent candidate.

The Shark Tank host said “it would take a perfect storm” for him to go through with it because he thinks it would be too much pressure on his wife and three kids.

“The definition of bad parenting is running for president when you have three young kids, nine, 12, and 15,” Cuban said.

TRUMP OR BIDEN? Cast Your 2020 Vote Now

Bookies are already setting the early odds for who has the best chance of winning the 2020 presidential election, and it’s not even close.

Trump is still the strong favorite to win in 2020 despite 22 candidates declaring that they are running for president, and the number could keep rising.

Sportsbook manager Dave Mason found that Trump is the overwhelming 3-2 favorite for re-election.

“There were no changes to Sanders’ odds following the announcement. We had it as a foregone conclusion that he will be in the Democratic mix,” he said.

Trump being the clear favorite to win re-election in 2020 won’t surprise that many people.

The 2020 election is still a long way away, but many already see Trump as the clear favorite to win re-election.
