Frustrated that he is not having the success that he did back in 2016, Bernie Sanders is lashing out at the media for what he claims is biased coverage of his latest run for the White House.
The Sanders campaign expressed dismay that their frustrated candidate has been the victim a hostile media and specifically singled out CNN and the Washington Post.
The braying old socialist crank seems to believe that WAPO owner Jeff Bezos is retaliating for his anti-corporate tirades against Amazon which is also owned by Bezos and was savaged by his demands of a $15 an hour minimum wage.
Never mind that Bernie continues to be a regular guest on the Sunday morning shows, his loyalists are miffed that he continues to lag behind human gaffe machine Joe Biden who is exhibiting classic signs of Senility.
So now the Sander-ites and their revolutionary leader are lashing out at the press over the unfairness of it all.
We’ve said from the start that we will have to take on virtually the entire media establishment in this campaign, and so far that has proven to be true.

Via The Hill, “Democratic contenders unload on news media”:
The Democratic presidential contenders are letting loose with a barrage of attacks against the news media, ripping national outlets for what they view as biased coverage of their campaigns or unfair double standards in covering President Trump.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is leading the way, making his grievances with “corporate media” central to his anti-establishment campaign.
The Sanders campaign took it up a notch this week, calling out CNN and NBC by name and making the case that The Washington Post is covering him negatively because he’s been critical of the newspaper’s billionaire owner, Jeff Bezos.
Top media personalities are firing back at Sanders and accusing him of taking a page from Trump, who routinely attacks major outlets such as The New York Times and CNN as “fake news.”
The media is fighting back in seeking to poison the well by comparing Sanders criticism to that of Trump who has been the target of a sustained, vicious and coordinated rolling wave of smears for over four years now.
Sen. Bernie Sanders criticized Amazon on Tuesday — then lashed out at @washingtonpost, which is owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, saying the paper "doesn't write particularly good articles about me." The remarks were similar to ones made by President Trump.https://t.co/rXBBHXgVYX

Bernie Sanders said he believes The Washington Post is biased due to its owner being Jeff Bezos. However, Mr. Bezos has no influence on the news, & calling it biased and complaining relates to Donald Trump, who calls the media "the enemy of the people."https://t.co/2tWfZrKOH4

The Washington Post denied any such agenda against Sanders and the paper’s chief editor scoffed at the mangy old red for promoting conspiracy theories.
Washington Post executive editor Marty Baron bashed Sen. Bernie Sanders for pushing a “conspiracy theory” that the paper’s news coverage is influenced by its owner, Amazon chief Jeff Bezos https://t.co/Ba08jZrFoY

Washington Post executive editor Marty Baron bashed Sen. Bernie Sanders for pushing a “conspiracy theory” that the paper’s news coverage is influenced by its owner, Amazon chief Jeff Bezos.
“Sen. Sanders is a member of a large club of politicians — of every ideology — who complain about their coverage,” Baron said in a statement. “Contrary to the conspiracy theory the senator seems to favor, Jeff Bezos allows our newsroom to operate with full independence, as our reporters and editors can attest.”
Also griping about unfair media coverage are bottom feeders like the race-baiting Julian Castro and the ex-wunderkind Beto O’Rourke whose disastrous candidacy has gotten new life – and loads of media coverage – after his good fortune of having a mass shooting take place in his hometown of El Paso.
Both are trapped in the netherworld between zero and two percent.

Sanders’ whining about the media’s not kowtowing to his extremism underscores his problems in 2020 when the entire Democrat presidential field has embraced big time socialism and that a disingenuous phony like Elizabeth Warren is seen as less a threat to the ruling corporate order than a true believer like Bernie.
Team Bernie has already flown into action to circumvent the media with the rollout of the Bern Notice, a newsletter that will be devoured by his rabid loyalists but ignored by everybody else.

Bern after reading…

For a raving
communist socialist crackpot who before he nearly beat the unstoppable Hillary was relegated to the fringes, the senator from Vermont was suddenly cast into the national spotlight but things have been different this time around and Bernie has younger and more diverse competition.
So much for the revolution…
